Sombunwit school was founded in 1980 under the name of “Sombunwit Kindergarten School” by Ph.D. ChonthinateNimsombun. In 1988, it was converted to an English Program School. In 2002, the school also added Mandarin to the curriculum.
The school also applies and integrates the Montessori Method, in the Thai social context, from Nursery-Kindergarten3. The Montessori system teaches the children to think, investigate, examine, research and self-perform with both concentration and reason.

For language development, the school also integrates hands-on activities with natural teaching methods to encourage the children to learn language in 4 skills areas: listening, speaking, reading and writing.

Kids at Sombunwit also fully absorb and maintain Thai traditional customs and morals in the provided Thai environment.
